Happy birthday to me :)

It was my birthday during the week, we didn't do anything too special - we did go out to lunch, where I (as per usual) had issues getting food that was dairy and gluten free. The place we went to usually does all day breakfast but for some reason have stopped, so I couldn't get my usual fried eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and chips on the side. I was pretty disappointed to say the least, but oh well. Sometimes I'd like to go to the USA just to eat all the great vegan food! I wonder if it's all gluten free though?

I also requested that Ben take some photos of the girls and I, because I don't have many as I'm usually the one behind the camera. So here they are!

Oh, and I took some photos too :)

We all can't wait until spring, it's been so chilly this winter. It makes it hard to get out and do fun things when it's cold and you have a baby, they're not so great in the cold :P

But before you know it I'll be complaining about the heat of summer, isn't that always the way? I'll try not to this year, hehe.

We went to the zoo!

Ok, so this post is long overdue, we went to the zoo about a month ago! But Polly's Zoo Trip post reminded me that I hadn't shared our zoo photos!
We actually went to the zoo for free with Ben's work, which saved us about $70! I can't really believe it costs that much to go to the zoo :/
But we had a fun day :)

There was a bit of a line up to get a photo with this family of fake pandas!

These guinea pigs had the cutest little habitat!

I actually laughed out loud when this alpaca fell over from humping the other one lying down! Ben had just walked off, he was pretty disappointed he'd missed it hehe.

Surprisingly we found a few different species of fungi while we were there!

Piper was all tuckered out by the time we got to the petting zoo.

All in all it was a good day out. The low point of the day was me having to breastfeed in the public toilets which had no seats on them, that was interesting. But we did see a dancing flamingo, that entertained us for a while!

Nothing like a heat wave!

It's been SO HOT. And I feel the need to complain a bit about it on here, sorry Polly! I know you get a lot more hot weather than we do!
It's going to be 38 degrees for the next 2 days, after the last week of it being 35+... :( bah!!

On a positive note, we braved the heat and rushed down and back to our local 'Toy World' to get a swing set/slide for Molgaban :) once the hot weather has passed we can put it together! And then save up for a trampoline ;) I can't wait!!

I'll pop a few cute photos from the week on here to add to my ramblings, I don't have any of Molgaban and I feel kinda bad! I did take some photos of her, I should email them from my phone later. I wish I could just save pictures from my Instagram on here! But alas, it won't let me.
