Studio lights

I got a set of studio lights for my birthday back in August, fortuneteller with two little girls running around I haven't had any time to set them up - until now! Well, I only set one up, we have a small house and I really have no need for a full set of studio lights. But it's nice to know they're there, for future use.

Here are a few photos I took with the one I have set up:

(I'm not sure how I feel about the 'coolness' of the light, I would've liked it to be warmer. I'm not sure if I need a warmer light cover or warmer light bulb...)

 How cool is that two dollar coin?! I've never seen a different one, they've always been the same, it's definitely one for my collection!

Maybe I should look around for some warm coloured sheer scarves to drape over it? Does anyone have any experience with studio lights?

I'm hoping to take some photos of the girls with it soon, the cat wouldn't stay still very long to have his photo taken, how rude! :P
