Happy birthday to me :)

It was my birthday during the week, we didn't do anything too special - we did go out to lunch, where I (as per usual) had issues getting food that was dairy and gluten free. The place we went to usually does all day breakfast but for some reason have stopped, so I couldn't get my usual fried eggs, mushrooms, tomatoes and chips on the side. I was pretty disappointed to say the least, but oh well. Sometimes I'd like to go to the USA just to eat all the great vegan food! I wonder if it's all gluten free though?

I also requested that Ben take some photos of the girls and I, because I don't have many as I'm usually the one behind the camera. So here they are!

Oh, and I took some photos too :)

We all can't wait until spring, it's been so chilly this winter. It makes it hard to get out and do fun things when it's cold and you have a baby, they're not so great in the cold :P

But before you know it I'll be complaining about the heat of summer, isn't that always the way? I'll try not to this year, hehe.

A Wonderful Day!

Yesterday I spent the whole day with my best friend Smanna! We haven't done that in sooo long! We baked, you-tubed, chatted and mooched around together. I wish it could've lasted longer, but I got enough photos to last me a lifetime! And I thought I'd share some :)

A Little Catch Up...

I've had to busiest week ever - due to exam study. BUT on Thursday, the day of my exam, I got a tummy bug! Ben and Molgaban happily gave me their germs and I was unable to make the train ride into town for my final exam :(
I was pretty devastated as it was my last exam and they said I "might" be able to get an extension because I was sick, so I may have just failed that subject! And due to my other lecturer not believing me about all our moving issues I may have failed my other subject as well! :( Big, BIG sads on Thursday.
I eventually, (after a few hours), let go of the  fact that the past 3 months have been totally crazy and all my effort to catch up with schoolwork has been a little pointless...
Life goes on!
AND we get our puppy on Thursday!!!! YAY!!

Anywho, apart from my tiny breakdown, (after which I had to clean the whole house as I'd ignored housework to study), we haven't been doing much. But I have taken a few photos this week, so I thought I'd share them with you.

(Also, I keep forgetting to send a big CONGRATULATIONS! to Amy over at Amyschmamey on the birth of her little girl 'Avery'. You were so brave, and I enjoyed your pregnancy posts soooo much!!)

When Maple has to take an ID photo...OF HERSELF!!

Ok so, in order to do my exam at school this week I need to give them a passport size photo of myself so they can make me an ID card.

Of course they could just accept that it's me and let me do my damn exam. But because I'm an online student this is what has to happen.

So instead of going and paying for a picture to be taken, I took it myself! I hope they accept it, I'll be pretty mad if they don't.

But if you know me, you know I basically can't take a serious photo. So here's the outtakes and outcome! :)

Anywho, back to studying for my exam! It's on Pharmacology if you were wondering, wish me luck!

Picnics and Breakfast Fun :)

Last week I decided Molgaban and I would have a little picnic lunch outside, it was such lovely weather and who wants to sit around a boring old table inside and eat yummy things when it's sunny and warm outside!? 

Here are some photos from our little home picnic lunch and some pictures from breakfast this morning, we both look a little scruffy but it was fun anyway!

Are if you're wondering what vegetarian food we had on our little picnic, we had corn chips, carrot sticks, salsa, cold vege sausages and cold corn fritters. Yummmmm! Over the weekend I made some Hummus which was lovely, but then I dared to put capers in it.....it was AWESOME!! I might have to put up how to make it sometime this week! :)

Oh the tickles! Lol :P
