Mail, Hoots and Birthdays.

Well I'm on school holidays - yay! - for 2 weeks. I can't believe I forgot how much time is needed to study for an exam! It was crazy last week!
It was my birthday on Saturday :) so we went shopping, mainly for little Molgaban - because it's her 2nd birthday next week! - then at night Ben and I got my mum to look after Molgaban for a couple of hours so we could have a bit of "us" time, so we went bowling and had some dinner at a tiny cafe we found when we went looking for a place to have coffee. Best chicken caesar salad ever!!
Here are some pictures from the last week, including some happy mail, Molgaban's new hoot and maple cookies :)

Some "happy" mail :)

More happy mail, in the form of an early birthday present for Molgaban from her great-grandparents.

Another early birthday present from Molgaban's Nanny.

Molgaban's finished hoot!

Maple flavoured hoot cookies for my Maple birthday :) made by my best friend Sman <3

HOOOOT!

Hope you're having a great week wherever you are!

Hoots, cameras and foofs!

Today I got a little package in the mail containing Molgaban's next "hoot" from Clairey Lou and I got a HUGE surprise...a free hoot!!! You wonderful lady! Hehe!

The one on the right is the one I bought, the one on the left was our lovely surprise!

So now Molgaban has 4 hoot hoots! And another one is on the way for her 2nd birthday next month,  a super-size hoot! Yay!

I thought I'd also include a picture of her playing with one of my disposable cameras, she kept tilting it different ways and winding in and clicking the buttons and saying "CHEESE!" I didn't realize how much she must watch me taking photos! So cute :)

Now I don't know if you have "sour-sobs" where you're from, but in South Australia they're a weed that grows in the winter time, and basically if you grew up in South Australia you ate these as a kid and know they are extremely sour...yet strangely pleasant to eat...Lol. But yesterday we found this sour-sob, which is crazily long!! The normal sized ones are about as long as your forearm, including the flowers (or "foofs" as Molgaban would call them), this one was almost a metre long I swear! It was growing inside a bush, so it grew and grew to reach the sunlight. Then we came along and picked it! Whoops!

It's nice and sunny here today, cold, but sunny. I hope the weather is nice where ever you are!

And please go and check out Clairey Lou at her Blog!
Don't forget her Etsy shop too!

It's really for Molgaban, because she loves them so much. But I love them too, they're super sweet and so clever!

If you love cute things please go and have a look in her shop!

Another Special Delivery!

Today I woke up to find a tiny box had been delivered, inside the lovely packaging was the tiny felt owl decoration I had ordered for my daughter from Clairey Lou Creations on Etsy.

My almost 2 year old daughter, Charlotte, is in love with it! She won't let it go! It's soo adorable, I'm so glad I bought it!

Please stop by Clairey Lou's shop and have a look, you won't be disappointed!

Enjoy :)

Special Delivery!

A few days ago I received the pouch I'd ordered from The Dainty Squid.
I LOVE it, it's so mushroomy and well made and oh so useful!
Although I haven't found a use for it yet, it's now stashed in my new knitting bag and I'm sure it will come in handy for something!!
I took some pictures of my daughter Charlotte playing with my new pouch. She seems to like it, but of course she would, it's mushroomy and wonderful! And she can also open the zip very easily :P

I started my new online courses for my degree today! I took a couple of years off after I had Charlotte, due to her having some sleeping difficulties. It's feels great to be learning again, but I can't wait to finish!! :P
